IT Project Coordinator

Technology Engineering - Cleveland, OH - Full Time

The IT Project Coordinator role is an integral part of the Technology Engineering team and a great way to begin a career in the information technology field. As an IT Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for organizing the portfolio of IT projects and ensuring that company resources are utilized appropriately. Responsibilities may include compiling project status reports, tracking project financials, coordinating project schedules, and managing project meetings.

Because of its integral role in the department, this role performs a variety of tasks including supporting the leadership team and department-wide communication activities, such as maintaining project management files, facilitating executive administration tasks, and assisting in managing smaller projects as needed.  A degree of creativity and latitude is required.


  • Work with executives and leads to collect and disseminate project-related artifacts such as meeting minutes, status reporting, project presentations, issue and risk logs, and key decisions
  • Manage smaller project initiatives as needed
  • Assist in maintaining the Technology Engineering Microsoft Teams site
  • Assist with project scheduling, reporting, meeting agendas, scheduling, and meeting minutes
  • Support preparation for meetings by working with a broad range of resources
  • Assist the project team by resolving day to day issues and removing roadblocks
  • Support the executive team on change readiness assessments and stakeholder impact analysis
  • Support standard operating procedures within the IT department such as time reporting, change control, project intake, budget tracking, etc.
  • Plan and monitor project schedules and financials
  • Assisting in the coordination of project-related travel and expenses tracking
  • Assist in preparing communication materials for senior leadership
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management Information Systems, or a related degree required
  • 1-2+ years of experience in project coordination
  • Strong experience with MS Office Suite required
  • Experience Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Project, Visio, and JIRA preferred
  • Exceptional team player
  • Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to plan and manage your own work to meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An ability to collect summarize and present data
  • Quick Learner with a proactive and client-servicing mindset
  • Flexible with strong ability to adapt to changing needs and managing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Some travel required
