Help Desk Specialist

Technology Engineering - Chicago, IL - Full Time

The Help Desk Specialist is responsible for supporting BrandMuscle employees with Tier 1 support requests.  The Help Desk Specialist works in a small team that provides quality daily technical support to ensure the continuous operations of BrandMuscle.


  • Provisioning new employee systems and accounts
  • Provide hardware and software support for BrandMuscle employees, both on-site and remotely
  • Phone system management
  • Inventory management
  • Monitoring of critical systems


  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
  • 0-3+ years of experience technical support or technical customer service
  • Familiarity with PC hardware components
  • A+ or Microsoft Technology Associate Certifications preferred
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills in Windows
  • Simple understanding of networks
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Detail oriented and self-motivated
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds
