Graphic Operations Manager

Brandmuscle is not a creative agency, but we have a Graphic Operations production team to work with creative materials supplied by our clients and their creative teams.  This team is responsible for the manipulation of creative materials for use within our web based proprietary ad template technology solution. There is limited creative work involved in producing these web-based templates, prototypes or samples in response to customer and industry requirements.

The Graphic Operations, Manager (GOM) is an experienced manager who has demonstrated a high level of proficiency in managing projects from initiation to completion and is consistently effective in obtaining results from project teams including supervision/coordination of vendor partnership for project execution. Exemplary technical skills, project management and communications skills are essential for success in this position.

The Graphic Operations Manager is a leadership position, responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing projects of a complex nature, including assigning individual responsibilities to the project team, identifying appropriate resources needed and developing a schedule to ensure completion of projects.
  • Overseeing all creative aspects during the implementation of the Brandmuscle solution for a variety of clients.
  • Ensuring adherence to quality standards and reviewing project deliverables.
  • Recommending and taking action to direct the analysis and solutions of client issues and problems, concerning creative, in the best interest of both the client and Brandmuscle.
  • Providing ongoing feedback and assessment of project status and issues to managers and executives.
  • Leading and directing the work of the Graphic Operations team.
  • Mentoring and developing the Graphic Operations team on industry concepts, practices and procedures, including new products features.
  • Interfacing with all teams affecting templates projects for the client, including end users, internal & external teams, and vendors.
  • Enhancing the client relationship through proactive and innovative project management, creative recommendations and managing the Graphic Operations team to ensure timely deliverables to the client, and strategizing with client service for future business opportunities and efficiencies with regard to creative.
  • Overseeing monthly metrics for Graphic Operations team ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Developing and recommending short-term and long-term objectives, strategies and tactics for the Graphic Operations team. 
  • Hiring graphic operations personnel.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated record of accomplishment as a manager who grasps graphics and technology opportunities.
  • Advertising industry knowledge, commitment to client service. 
  • Management experience, coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with Dreamweaver, HTML or HTML5 a plus
  • Proficiency with Adobe applications: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat/Distiller, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • The ability to be a self-directed leader with exceptional organizational skills.
  • The ability to plan, manage and track assigned projects.
  • The ability to work on multiple projects in a deadline driven environment.
  • Good problem solving skills: able to identify issue, define cause, document resolution, and implement solution.
  • Some travel required. 

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Three to Five years of account management experienced and base understand and knowledge of creative and technical workflows.
  • Previous supervisory / management experience.
