Manager, Paid Media & Ad Ops

The Manager, Paid Media & Ad Ops is responsible for working with clients and internal teams to execute and oversee digital marketing and advertising programs across Programmatic Display, Search (SEM) and Social Media channels. The Manager, Paid Media & Ad Ops will work collaboratively with all members of the digital team. This role will support directly the Director, Paid Media & Ad Ops and will work to help build upon the department’s strategic offering, expertise and management of self-managed programmatic media processes, technologies, and services. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute programmatic paid media strategies by understanding client initiatives and goals
  • Learning and applying an in-depth understanding of the client’s business, business rules, and business processes as they relate to our client's solution and digital programs
  • Oversee execution of client paid media programs and analyze metrics to provide actionable improvements, enhancements, growth opportunities
  • Lead client meetings for new program opportunities and initiatives
  • Be a contributing thought leader for emerging industry trends
  • Generate new ideas and collaborate with teams to execute new programs and initiatives that will increase engagement, drive lead-gen and grow accounts
  • Lead and mentor assigned team members
     

Requirements

  • 3-5 years marketing/advertising or digital experience required, preferably in an agency or client-side marketing role with management experience
  • Well versed in (self-managed) programmatic media planning and buying, Google AdWords, social media advertising and retargeting (Google AdWords certification preferred)
  • Demand Side Platform (DSP) experience with a focus on real-time bidding and first party data
  • Ad Operations and trafficking processes/tools experience, ex. DFA, Integral Ad Science
  • Experience with third party SEM platforms, such as Marin, Kenshoo and DoubleClick search
  • Paid social media experience including Facebook Power Editor
  • Solid understanding and successful execution of digital marketing tactics
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Detail driven and client service-oriented
  • Self-starter, ability to work without direct supervision
  • Competitive spirit, hunger to outperform
  • Experience managing and prioritizing a complex task list to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in marketing or advertising strongly preferred
