Account Manager

The Account Manager is responsible for managing the client and Brandmuscle process.  In addition, the AM plays a key role in engaging and monitoring Brandmuscle resources and effectively utilizes the appropriate Brandmuscle staff to complete activities and projects that support the customer requirements for success.  The AM works tactically but thinks strategically.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Plans and initiates projects through internal processes
  • Coordinates efforts with IT and other Brandmuscle departments
  • Primary client contact accountable for successfully delivering assigned projects
  • Maintains accurate records of client contact and client direction
  • Assists in the promotional planning process and manages daily execution of approved promotional plans
  • Understands Brandmuscle’s products and client use case, able to support client with new or better ways to achieve client goals and objectives
  • Works with Finance and customer to manage monthly billing
  • Responsible for financial growth and development of  user base
  • Builds and develops professional relationships with clients, brand managers and marketing managers
  • Conducts training sessions
  • Promotes and educates clients and site users of company’s services, programs and marketing tools
  • Oversees account and order workflow; run weekly reports to ensure orders are produced and shipped within SLA, and that orders are invoiced and processed for monthly backlog reporting
  • Manages monthly and annual billing fees for services
  • Works closely with clients to understand marketing plans, upcoming campaigns and product launches; coordinates email blasts to announce marketing plans to site users
  • Administers and promotes consolidator programs; works with IT and estimator teams to close and process the programs quickly and efficiently
  • Serves as a resource to clients to make program suggestions, be knowledgeable in print solution and Brandmuscle’s marketing tools
  • Ensures sites are being continuously updated with new content, announcements and marketing program information in line with client marketing objectives
  • Works with CSR’s, Designers, Estimators and Accounting teams to ensure smooth workflow
  • Close working relationship with Estimating Team on custom POS requirements from assigned Clients
  • Engages with and manages client contracts, policies and procedures as they relate to Brandmuscle work
  • Develops internal support from CSR’s assigned to the client

Requirements:

  • Organization and Versatility. Multi-tasking is the standard operating procedure; handling multiple jobs, data input, taking direction and managing schedules are an everyday reality 
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Exceptional communication and problem solving skills 
  • Strong sense of customer service and urgency related to client requests 
  • A track record of exceeding performance expectations and thriving in a collaborative, early stage environment with minimal direction 
  • Familiarity with graphic arts and point of sale marketing is a plus (but not required)
  • A highly driven and passionate individual, with a “can do" attitude and a strong desire to grow 
  • High energy and infectious enthusiasm, with a positive outlook and willingness to “roll up the sleeves" to get the job done 
  • Analytic skills, an inquisitive mind and an acute attention to detail 
  • Works well with others, yet takes personal responsibility and accountability for their own work
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills are crucial

Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 1+ years of Project Management experience
  • Print production experience useful
