Vice President of Client Services

The Vice-President of Client Services is responsible for acting as the senior relationship manager with multiple client contacts. The position ensures overall client retention, operational execution and quality service delivery, senior relationship management, and for growing their base of business. The Vice-President of Client Services should be adept at handling the overall growth strategy (both Client and internal) and should fulfill an influential/responsible role with regards to Brandmuscle process, product and Client relationships.  He/she is responsible for creating and maintaining a high level of satisfaction regarding Brandmuscle on the part of Client product and sales team members.  He/she is also responsible for developing quarterly and annual business reviews for clients.  The VP oversees subordinates on strategic and tactical development and the internal planning process.  He/she also provides ongoing training and development of staff when necessary. 

The VP is often times the senior-most team member dedicated 100% to the client(s) they serve.  This means that the team member is the foundation for the team and acts as a leader across all company initiatives.  This person is responsible for ensuring strategies are pulled through to tactics and supervises our internal processes to ensure the tactics are developed and delivered at a high level of quality.  The VP is a senior leader in Brandmuscle and as such must assure team collaboration, coordination and a positive attitude in order to garner and maintain the support of other company departments.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Takes on leadership role for annual brand/tactical planning including innovative recommendations that meet the clients’ goals/strategies
  • Maintains highest level of product/category knowledge and anticipates threats/opportunities            
  • Establishes and maintains rapport with product/category thought leaders
  • Plays a major role and is effective in new business development efforts with new name clients
  • Develops and maintains good working relationships with ancillary departments and personnel on the Client and Brandmuscle internal side
  • Participates in the Client budget setting process
  • Understands the Client corporate structure/culture
  • Creates strong relationships with expanded Account Team to ensure exceptional process and product
  • Fosters team collaboration and maintains positive momentum for the brand/Client within the Company
  • Ensures timely follow-up for projects/programs oversees regular status meetings with Account Team & Client
  • Able and willing to assist in new business efforts by leading sales & business development activities, tactical planning and new project management
  • Demonstrates forward thinking and vision on a corporate level
  • Provides ongoing training and development of staff in Client and Company interaction, problem solving, competitive analysis, financial tracking, budgeting and estimating
  • Effectively supervises, evaluates, and recommends compensation for subordinates
  • Obtains annual Client approval of work plan
  • Oversees financial documentation: monitors estimates/invoices, reviews fee accountability, CRM reports
  • Along with account supervisor, fiscally manages the client (e.g., income forecasting and profitability)
  • Provides timely and accurate sales forecasting, reporting and critical performance indicators to Executive leadership

Ability/Skills/Knowledge:

  • Minimum 8 years related experience
  • Strong history of world class client partnership and growth
  • Experience in Beverage/Alcohol preferred
  • Unquestionable leadership skills
  • Professional written and verbal communication capabilities
  • Clear understanding of company’s “go to market” strategy
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Strong people management skills
  • Subject matter expertise in all facets of company’s products and services
